service are paramount in
the architectural products indus-
try, one company has been stand-
ing head and shoulders above the
rest for over three decades.
Founded in 1983, Columbia
Architectural Products has been
servicing the metal wall panel
industry locally and throughout
the United States with the in-
house engineering, project man-
agement and customer service
team to get every client's project
done in an affordable and timely
fashion.
The company was officially
begun in the early 1970's by Ron
Prass and Bill Morrissey, but in
1983 Bill Bass and his brothers
purchased Columbia Architectural
Products (CAP). A professional
architect for years, Bill put that
career behind him and came to
CAP to run it full time. Growing
steadily, CAP started with the
manufacturer of window and
storefront infill panels, and has
evolved to specialize in custom
engineered high-tech wall
cladding systems. Without a
doubt, CAP experienced growing
pains and setbacks, yet with a
solid vision and commitment to
client satisfaction the company
has emerged an innovative solu-
tions oriented architectural prod-
ucts leader.
Certainly a major milestone for
CAP came in 2010 when they
brought on Ron Moore to be the
Director of Sales and Marketing.
With many years of experience in
the industry, Ron helped trans-
form the company to do more
than just panels. With his enor-
mous amount of contacts and
depth of fabricating knowledge,
Ron has opened up new doors for
CAP including starting four new
websites up and running to do
ecommerce stores (www.metalpan-
elstore.com, www.cornerguard.net,
www.drywalltrims.com ,
www.kneewall.com ). "By giving
